    Climate: mediterranean, characterized by harsh winters with temperatures reaching -15°C, and hot and humid summers with temperatures reaching 35°C

    Soil: clayey and calcareous

    Altitude: 180– over 340 meters above sea level

    Training system: traditional Piedmontese guyot with an average vine density of 5000 vine stocks per hectare

    Grape variety: 100% Barbera

    Production yield per hectare: 95 quintals

    Average age of the vines: 20 – 30  years

    Vinification: Fermentation – maceration on the skins for 10 days and second fermentation in stainless steel tank

    Colour: violet ruby red

    Perlage: lively foam, slightly sparkling and persistent

    Aroma: fragrant with lots of red fruit

    Taste: lively and fresh, round and well balanced on the palate

    Alcohol: 13 %

    Dry extract: 29 gr./l

    Food matching: cold cuts, pasta in general. Perfect with boiled meats, mixed grills and roasts

    Serving temperature: Serve at 8-12 ° C in spring and summer, 18 ° C in autumn winter
